Product Details
Semi-Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) machine (INVSMT-1AOI) serves as a crucial quality control tool in electronics manufacturing, particularly for printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies.
The INVSMT-1AOI operates by first utilizing its High-Performance Imaging System to capture precise images of the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA). This system employs a High-Resolution 2D Camera for broad defect detection and an Advanced Hemispherical Lighting System with programmable, multi-angle LEDs to optimize illumination for various components and minimize obscuring shadows or reflections. These detailed images are then fed into the Intelligent Defect Detection Software, which leverages Deep Neural Networks such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), YOLO, and Mask R-CNN. These advanced algorithms analyze the images to accurately and rapidly identify a wide range of post-reflow PCB defects, including soldering issues and component placement errors, ensuring efficient and thorough quality control.
Common faults flagged by the system include:
When the software detects a discrepancy, it flags defect. The location and nature of the suspected error are then displayed on a monitor for a human operator to review. The operator confirms whether the flagged issue is a genuine defect or a false positive. If a defect is confirmed, the faulty board is either removed from the production line for rework or discarded. This combination of automated inspection and human verification ensures a high degree of accuracy while significantly enhancing the efficiency of the quality control process
